Habitvs Privacy Policy

Habitvs is designed as a local-first wellness companion. This policy explains what information the app can access, how it is used, and how to contact us.
Information Habitvs Accesses
With your permission, Habitvs may read data from Apple Health and HealthKit to reflect your wellbeing in your companion, Kova. Depending on the permissions you grant and the data available on your device, this may include:
- Sleep data, including sleep duration and sleep stages.
- Activity data, including Activity rings, steps, exercise time, stand data, workouts, and active energy.
- Heart-related data, including heart rate variability, resting heart rate, and heart event categories.
- Mindfulness minutes.
- Time in daylight.
- Environmental audio exposure.
- Apple Sleeping Wrist Temperature, where available.
- Menstrual flow or menstrual phase context, if available and permitted.
You can manage Health permissions at any time in the Apple Health app or iOS Settings.
How the Information Is Used
Habitvs uses HealthKit data to calculate daily wellbeing signals, update Kova's mood and energy, generate gentle suggestions, show weekly reflections, and support widgets and Apple Watch experiences.
Habitvs is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Storage and Sharing
Habitvs stores app data and preferences locally on your device, including within the app group used by the iPhone app, widgets, and Apple Watch app.
We do not sell your data. Habitvs does not use advertising tracking. Habitvs does not create an account and does not intentionally transmit your HealthKit data to our servers.
Third Parties
Habitvs uses Apple frameworks such as HealthKit, SwiftData, widgets, notifications, and Apple Watch connectivity. We are not responsible for data collected by Apple through Apple's own services, devices, or operating systems.
Children
Habitvs is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy if the app's features or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
